2024 Winners 

The Father Leopold Moczygemba Foundation proudly announces the winners of our 2024 Silesian Texans Essay Contest. Each winner will receive a $1000 scholarship.
This year’s recipients are
  • Lucas Campbell of La Vernia High School who will be attending Trinity University,
  • Halleigh Kopecki of Poth High School who will attend Texas A&M University Corpus Christi,
  • Eric Wayne Moczygemba of Floresville High School who plans to attend the University of Texas at Austin, and
  • Owen Wiatrek of Poth High School who will attend Blinn College in the fall.
