The Father Leopold Moczygemba Foundation Gala was held on Sunday, December 2, 2018, at the St. Jerome Catholic Church in San Antonio (Martinez community). The Mass honored the Ancestors of the Silesian-Polish Texans. The main Celebrant was the Most Reverend Auxiliary Bishop Michael J. Boulette of the San Antonio Archdiocese. Attendees were welcomed by Rev. Msgr. Frank Kurzaj, President of the FLM Foundation. The meal blessing was given by Rev. Scott Janysek, Pastor of St. Jerome Church. The dinner was held in the O’Brien Hall at the church. Entertainment was provided by Cody Layne Martinez. Approximately 290 people attended. The winners of the FLMF Essay Scholarship program were recognized. Presentations were made for the Annual FLMF Outstanding Service Awards. The Closing Prayer was given by Rev. Krzysztof Bytomski, Parochial Vicar.
